A frontier physics lab,
working in the open.

AntiGravity is an independent research lab studying the physics and engineering of advanced propulsion. We publish open preprints, release our simulation code, and partner with universities and agencies on long-horizon problems.

We are not a startup.
We are a research program.

AntiGravity exists because the next leap in propulsion will come from physics we don't yet have — not from engineering refinements of chemistry we already do.

Our work lives in the space between speculative theory and testable experiment. We write papers, run simulations, and build instrument prototypes. We publish everything — first as preprints, later through peer review — so the community can falsify us quickly when we're wrong.

Funding comes from research grants, industrial partnerships, and a small number of long-horizon donors who accept that most of what we try will not work, and that the work that does will take decades to matter.

Work with us

We are hiring, and we fund visiting researchers.

Open positions

Research staff in theoretical physics, numerical relativity, and instrumentation. Full-time remote or at our Valencia lab.
